The First 10 Seconds
Determine The Outcome.

2,000+ Workplace eye injuries — every working day

Immediate irrigation is the most critical first response to eye exposure. Outcome is determined in seconds.1 1 Ikeda N, et al. Alkali burns of the eye: effect of immediate copious irrigation with tap water on their severity. Ophthalmologica. 2006;220(4). doi:10.1159/000093075.

Why It Matters

The Deployment
Rule.

One can of iRNSE™ is on your person at the point of injury, ready to deploy. In most cases it irrigates away foreign matter. Keep a second iRNSE™ within 7 minutes' reach for longer irrigation.

Direct iRNSE™ toward the affected area and press the actuator. Irrigate continuously until foreign matter is cleared, or longer where the exposure demands it. The second iRNSE™ is staged and ready.

The iRNSE™ design objective is singular: when the actuator is pressed, it works — every time, without hesitation. In the moment that matters, reliability is not a feature. It is the only requirement.

Sterilization

Gamma.
The Pharmaceutical
Standard.

Gamma irradiation is the sterilization standard trusted for implantable medical devices, prefilled pharmaceutical syringes, and single-use surgical products. It is not a surface treatment. Cobalt-60 gamma radiation penetrates the entire product and its packaging — killing microorganisms throughout, leaving no residue, and producing no meaningful temperature effect on the formula inside. What enters the irradiation process as saline exits as pharmaceutical-grade sterile saline. Unchanged. Verified. Sealed.

iRNSE™ is gamma irradiated at 25–50 kGy — the validated dose range for pharmaceutical sterility assurance. Combined with Bag-on-Valve barrier technology, that sterility doesn't degrade at first use or at minute seven. The sealed bag isolates the saline from the propellant and from outside air for the entire shelf life of the can. Three years on a shelf. Seven minutes in the field. Same sterility. First drop to last.

That is what the spec means. That is why it matters.

Compliance & Standards

Built to a Standard.
Not a Claim.

iRNSE™ is a regulated sterile saline natural health product. Every unit leaves the facility verified, documented, and traceable — from formulation to sterilization.

01 Stage One

Formulation & Fill

Pharmaceutical-grade 0.9% sodium chloride in purified water. Preservative free. Filled and sealed in an FDA-registered, ISO 22716 GMP-certified facility using Bag-on-Valve technology. Formulation, fill volume, crimp depth, and end pressure are tested and recorded against specification on every batch.

Then
02 Stage Two

Terminal Gamma Irradiation

Every sealed unit is subjected to terminal gamma irradiation at 25–50 kGy — the same sterilization method used for implantable medical devices and prefilled surgical syringes. The dose is validated per ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11137-2 at an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485-registered sterilization facility. Minimum and maximum dose are measured, recorded, and certified for every production lot.

10−6 Sterility Assurance Level

One chance in a million.
Same standard as implantable medical devices.

Manufacturing Credentials
ISO 22716 / FDA

Filling Facility

GMP-certified and FDA-registered filling facility. Every batch formulated, filled, and sealed against documented specification.

ISO 9001 / ISO 13485

Sterilization Facility

Terminal gamma irradiation validated and certified per lot. Dose measured by calibrated dosimetry. Certificate of processing issued for every production run.

NPN application in progress with Health Canada. iRNSE™ is regulated under the Natural Health Products Regulations as a sterile saline wound and eye wash.
